In the last couple of weeks the internet has been loaded with quick teaser clips or “clues” as they like to say. By my last check it was up to around eleven tiny clips of various macabre scenes.  Well hot on the heels of those clips comes the first teaser trailer for the second season titled: Asylum.  Check it out below…

American Horror Story returns this October on FX!

FX looking to add one more to the roster of serial killer tv shows….?

With Dexter being such a hit show, it was probably only a matter of time before a similar show or two showed up on a different network. That time may be coming soon.  According to Deadline, FX has put into development a television series based around the novels of Chelsea Cain which center around a female serial killer Gretchen Lowell and the Portland detective she is in love with, Archie Sheridan.

While I can see the similarities a little bit in theme, personally I feel this is easily it’s own story and take on the dynamics of a serial killer, and I am awaiting the series with much anticipation. I might even pick up the first novel Heartsick and see what I am in for in the future….

American Horror Story will continue haunting viewers! FX renews for a 2nd season!

American Horror Story has got to be my favorite new show of the season! I am not alone in my enjoyment of the show either as ratings for the show have been great for FX as well as growing every week.

“HS is producing outstanding ratings, growing though its first four weeks in the network’s target audience of Adults 18-49. On a Live+7 basis, through two weeks, first-run episodes of AHS are averaging 4.2 million Total Viewers, 2.9 million Adults 18-49, and 1.7 million Adults 18-34. It is currently tracking to become the highest-rated first season of any series ever on FX, certain to surpass Murphy’s award-winning hit drama Nip/Tuck in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 (2.1 million Adults 18-49; 1.0 million Adults 18-34 – 2003), and also above the award-winning drama Justified in Total Viewers (3.4 million P2+ – 2009).

As you can see this promo clip is extremely short. It’s a follow up to the first promo clip from last week. Maybe once all three of the clues have been released a clip of all of them back to back will be uploaded. Any thoughts on what we have seen so far?

FX’s An American Horror Story debuts it’s first promo clip…….sort of!?!

The time draws closer for An American Horror Story’s debut on FX. As reported some time ago, Glee creator Ryan Murphy has been developing a show for FX which combines drama and horror. I mean hey Horror movies are usually filled with drama, right? No? The synopsis (courtesy of SHockTillYouDrop for the show goes a little something like this:

“Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Jessica Lange star. McDermott and Britton play a husband and wife who relocate from Boston to a home in San Francisco that is haunted. The two are carrying emotional baggage, having suffered a miscarriage. An affair was also involved in their past.”
