Dying Light gets a new trailer at E3, plus a new release date that will delay the dying.

Awhile back we mentioned the new PS4 game DYING LIGHT, it was pretty close to it’s original release date back in April. In fact, when I bought a PS4, this was my first intended purchase besides what I picked up with the console.  With a mere few days to go before it’s release, news had hit that it was being pushed back.  Not sure the exact reason why.  Could it have to do with fatigue due to DEAD ISLAND and DI: RIPTIDE recently coming out?  Truth be told, DYING LIGHT certainly looks like a next-gen version of the DEAD ISLAND games. Not that it’s a bad thing, I had fun with DEAD ISLAND, and even more of a blast with RIPTIDE due to playing most of co-op with my brother in law.

The Light will not be Dying in 2014…..boo!

The good news is there is a brand new trailer for DYING LIGHT that is full of zombie carnage, destruction, & gore.  The bad news?  The release date now stands at February 2015. I hope the new trailer cheers up those who were expecting the game to come sooner…check it out below!

Dead Island: Riptide’s trailer explodes onto the internet…

Remember the first trailer for the original Dead Island? Highly emotional stuff…it sparked quite the discussion.  Well, here comes the first trailer for Deep Silver’s follow up Dead Island: Riptide.

Furious monsoon rainstorms have laid waste to the island of Palanai in the Banoi archipelago, waters have risen and caused a flood disaster — because of this and the raging zombie invasion, a rescue mission for the survivors seems to be without prospect of success. All hope seems to have been lost for the surviving humans…

Dead Island:Riptide is planned for a 2013 release!

Telltale’s The Walking Dead Episode #4 “Around Every Corner” gets a trailer…

Is this a sign that Episode #4 in Telltale’s The Walking Dead video game series is going to be on the way sooner than later? Hot on the heels of the release of episode #3 of TWD, comes the trailer not more than 48 hours later. This is pretty uncharacteristic of the series thus far, as much time has passed between the first three episodes.  Check out the trailer for “Around Every Corner” below….

***Warning, the trailer is likely to spoil elements of the third episode in the series, and given that the third episode just released a few days ago, it is highly likely a lot of you have not played through it yet. (Including myself, and I am refraining from watching this preview for that very reason….ok you’ve been warned)

Episode #2 of The Walking Dead Game “Starving for Help” finally makes it’s way to XBL & PSN this week!

After much frustration over the delay in getting the latest episode of The Walking Dead game out, this news is sure to put a brain-eating grin on everyone’s face.  Not only have we been given release dates for both consoles but they happen to be THIS WEEK!  Yep, that’s right!

“Starving for Help” hits XBL tomorrow as well as PSN this Friday…..as a huge fan of the first one, (a full review of it can be heard on episode #20 of the podcast) I have been eagerly awaiting episode #2 to release and the wait is almost over!  Hooray! If you pre-ordered the entire series like me you won’t be paying a dime, if not this episode as a stand alone will cost the very reasonable price of $5

Edit: At the time I posted this story yesterday the trailer had not been released, but today while I was at work the launch trailer for episode #2 was made available…so here it is!

Dead Island: Experience the first 15 minutes

Because I plan on picking this game up in a few days, I will not even be watching the video below because I don’t want anything spoiled for me outside of all the previews have provided, however I know some of you out there seek out footage like this in order to help you decided on whether or not to purchase the game. So for all of you, have at it, it’s the first fifteen minutes of DEAD ISLAND Courtesy of G4TV!

Vodpod videos no longer available.

DEAD ISLAND is now available on PS3/360/PC…..shamble your way to the store shelves & pick it up!

Desk job got you down? Kill some time(literally) with a whole bunch of zombie games!

Being that I cover horror-based games on for this website, I think it is only fair to include the entire spectrum (at least the entire spectrum that I can get my hands on and personally try out) and that includes anything from the newest console game, to something as simple a board game.  Today I am happy to share with all of you a pretty kick-ass site:  ZOMBIESGAMES24

Most of the games on this website are flash-based. As you can imagine that means some of them such as  crowd favorite LAST STAND  can be pretty fun, while a a handful of others might be downright dreadful.  Spend time playing the role of the President in OBAMA vs. ZOMBIES, or if that doesn’t have you intrigued, how about playing as a zombie, trying to fight for your own undead survival in the game SONNY.  No matter what you decide to sink your keyboard & mouse into, ZOMBIESGAMES24 is definitely going to help get you through any day in the office and have you on your way to fighting the living dead masses off the clock!
