First trailer for Eli Roth’s Hemlock Grove arrives….

Eli Roth’s Hemlock Grove is one of a handful of new series premiering straight to netflix in 2013.  What that also means is that the entire series will premiere at once, yes that’s right, all 13 episodes will be available to stream on April 19th!  Check out the first trailer for the show below:

From director Eli Roth, developed by Brian McGreevy and Lee Shipman, with Famke Janssen (“X-Men”), Bill Skarsgård (“Simon & The Oaks”), Landon Liboiron (“Terra Nova”), Penelope Mitchell (“6 Plots”), Freya Tingley (“X”), and Dougray Scott (“Mission Impossible II”). Sexy, gripping, emotional and twisted, Hemlock Grove is unlike anything else you’ve ever seen.

Kind of looks like a murder mystery involving possible supernatural beings. What say you? Will this be in your que come April 2013?

Hemlock Grove being adapted for a 13 episode series exclusively on netflix; produced/directed by Eli Roth.

Eli Roth, most horror fans either love him or hate him. The director Cabin Fever and the more controversial Hostel, one of a handful of films that gave birth to the label “torture-porn” whether rightfully so or not.  Looks like Mr. Roth is delving into some TV Horror with the adaption of Hemlock Grove.

“Set against the backdrop of our darke  myths, adolescent deceptions, ravenous relationships and rumors of a werewolf, the series re-imagines everything it means to be a monster as reflected in the struggle to be human.”

Eli Roth will handle the directing and producing according to DEADLINE’s report. And the script itself will be written by Brian McGreevy who wrote the novel, as well as Lee Shipman.  It should be noted that the gothic horror novel will be available on March 27th.  No word yet on when the series plans to air on netflix, but rest assured Evil Episodes will keep you up to date on all the information as it is released!

Nothing to Fear but “Fear Itself” so says netflix!

Remember the NBC anthology series FEAR ITSELF from 2008? No? Well let me remind you a bit of it.  After the success of Masters of Horror on Showtime. The creator Mick Garris decided to create a series with a similar format for network television.  Each episode would be directed by a different director, most of which had previous ties to the horror genre.

The series began airing and was eventually pre-empted for the Olympics and then ended up never returning to it’s Thursday night timeslot.  Of course, being on NBC there would be much more limitations put on the content allowed, however I remember seeing a few episodes and being entertained for the most part. Chalk it up to “Valiant effort” I suppose.  Hell even the opening credits theme song had a little “celebrity flare” as it was composed by System of a Down’s Serj Tankian.  Here is the original promo for the series:

Now, if you missed any of the episodes or the entire series, it is available all on netflix instant streaming. So pop some popcorn, dim the lights and prepare to fear….FEAR ITSELF….

…..but wait….Thanks to the awesome website FEARNET:
