It’s Evil Episodes #79!

On this episode we get right into some news regarding the the upcoming tv series reboot of Tales from the Darkside and Friday the 13th, which of course leads to some rants about the use of established properties in order to generate interest. Then we jump into discussing a couple of movies; a home invasion flick currently streaming on netflix called Torment, and a screener we received via Legion Podcasting network called Buddy Hutchens. We enjoyed one of these movies, the other……….well…….We wrap up the show with our thoughts on the latest from The Walking Dead, Bates Motel, and a few brief thoughts regarding season 3 of The Following from Mike.  All this and more including our gushing over the latest horror icon to be joining the Mortal Kombat franchise!  Enjoy the show!

Bates Motel is re-opening in early 2014, here is your first teaser of Season 2!

Bates Motel was a surprise hit for me, and a lot of folks apparently as the ratings were solid and a second season was ordered.  We are still a handful of months away from 2014, but like most shows these days the viral content has gotten started awfully early….here is your first teaser:

The pickings are a little slim this time as Hannibal & Bates Motel are the only shows currently airing however we have plenty to discuss about both as Bates Motel is just about wrapped (in fact the finale will have aired by the time you hear this episode, apologies) and Hannibal is getting more crazy than ever.

Finally we get into the first half of Hemlock Grover, covering episodes 1-6. Is this another winner for netflix original series? Is it too Teeny Bopper-y? Is it scary? Are the effects decent? Welcome back to your bi-weekly dose of small screen terror!

It’s Evil Episodes Podcast #39!

On this edition we start with  rundown of anything horror-related we’ve watched since the last episode including a handful of movies Mike watched over the last week which American Mary, Maniac(original & remake), and Stitches. Listen out for possible extended reviews of any combo of the movies in the future.
