Evil Episodes Podcast: Episode #46 Ghost Shark the Ripper!

It’s time to turn the dial to Evil. You’re Horror TV Fix is back!

In this episode the news is bare and there isn’t too much to catch up on as the some of the seasons of shows have wrapped up while others did not air on Labor Day weekend, so we get right into the first four episodes of the BBC original series, Ripper Street.  Set 6 months after the murders of Jack The Ripper stopped, folks start turning up dead once again. Is Jack Back or do we have a copycat on our hands?
We then get into the SYFY original flick, Ghost Shark. Hot on the heels of Sharknado, we get another killer shark flick.  This one did not get the glory, attention, or views of the former, but did it deserve better? Can a movie about the vengeful ghost of a shark give the fans what they are asking for? Find out what Mike, Jamie, & Corey think!

Evil Episodes Podcast: Episode #43 Giant Fear of Axes & Bunyan’s

Welcome back to the darkside of the tv dial!

On the latest installment we start off with our thoughts on a couple of new shows to hit the airwaves, WHODUNNIT, a murder-mystery reality show of sorts, and Stephen King’s Under the Dome.  Mike & Jamie then go on to give their thoughts on the start of Dexter season 8!  Very slim news segment this week featuring a couple of video game tidbits including Mike’s thoughts on Tell Tale’s “400 Days” episode of The Walking Dead game.
After that it is onto this episode’s featured review, another double-feature, SYFY’s Axe Giant: The Legend of Paul Bunyan, and Chiller’s 5 Senses of Fear anthology.  Which won has us running for the hills and which won was Corey able to win Mike’s recommendation over by the end of the review? (Jamie would have none of it, haha)
Then we welcome Dan from The Skeleton Crew to discuss 6 episodes of Tales from the Darkside, yes not the usual 3, but 6….this segment really could have been a show of it’s own, which is why you will notice the extremely long running time of this episode. Before all is said and done we talk Teddy Ruxpin, Smokey the Bear, and McGruff the Crime Dog, not to mention Mike & Dan giving their thoughts on Season 3 of AMC’s The Killing thus far.

Hello everyone,

As promised along with unveiling the details of how to enter yourself into the giveaway on Episode #40, I have made a stand alone post for entry details.  Here at Evil Episodes being that this is our first official prize, we decided not to make it so much a contest and more of a giveaway.  That’s right folks, all you have to do is TELL ME YOU WANT IT.

How can you let me know?  There are lots of ways.  For starters, leave a comment on this thread (please include email so I can contact a potential winner).  Then there is emailing the show at evilepisodespodcast@hotmail.com, oh but there’s more, you can leave a comment on Horrorphilia’s mirror of this post right here: Evil Episodes Podcast #40 on Horrorphilia and finally, and perhaps the most fun of all you can even leave a message on the Evil Episodes voicemail at 760-661-7384 (please include an email address in your message, don’t worry I won’t air your email address on the show 😉 ) telling us you want to get your hands on the Dexter Season 7 blu ray set….

Well, that’s pretty much it, very easy people….I know there are a ton of Dexter fans out there who would love to save themselves $40 (or more).

The lucky winner will be announced on Episode #42 which is only two episodes from now (approximate date of recording of that episode is June 21st, yep I want to give lots of people time to enter) Don’t miss out!

The beginning of the end is near for Dexter, season 8 gets a full trailer…..

This is the season we’ve all been waiting for folks.  There is no turning back, the end is definitely in sight and the walls are closing on Dexter.

The trailer paints a dim picture of what has become of Deb since the events of  the season 7 finale, and for good reason. There is no “fixing” what she did.

Check out the full trailer for Season 8 below and be sure to catch the season premiere of Dexer’s final season on June 30th only on Showtime!

Some more appetizers to keep us sustained until the season 7 premiere of Dexter next month, yes the popular webisode series Dexter : Early Cuts is back!  This time focusing mostly on Dexter & Deb’s past, specifically instances where Debra may have felt something “darker” was going on with Dexter. Enjoy….

Dexter season 7 full trailer now online….looks like the past is catching up!

We finally have received the full preview treatment we’ve been waiting for. In this trailer for Dexter’s seventh season the main focus is between Dexter & his sister Debra, and for good reason.  Now that Debra knows what she knows, will it ever be the same for the Morgan siblings? We also see the Miami PD beginning to put together clues from the latest crime scene which links the killing to a killer from the past….who is that killer? Watch the preview below to find out….
