Resident Evil 6 “Captivates” with new trailer….and a new release date!

With lackluster reviews coming in from all over for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, it looks like it is time to set all sights ahead to Resident Evil 6. To help do that Capcom has released a brand new trailer for the game titled “Captivate”  along with the trailer comes the news that the release date has always been moved up a month to October 2nd 2012!  That is pretty awesome considering most times when a game’s release is moved, it’s back not up!  Here is the trailer:

 

Resident Evil 6 (Game) Announcement Trailer….promising “dramatic horror” genre……

Resident Evil: Raccoon City hasn’t even be released yet (March 2012) and news has just come through the wire that Resident Evil 6 has been confirmed! In fact, an announcement trailer is now online & it looks like the more action-horror oriented style that the Resident Evil series has become in recent installments will continue…..Check out the official press release and the trailer after the jump!

 

Go back to where it all began in “Resident Evil: Raccoon City”

As a long time fan of the Resident Evil series I am pretty excited about the upcoming sequel/prequel “Raccoon City”  The synopsis takes gamers back to where the series began, in Raccoon City, during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, except this time instead of playing as one of the series re-occurring heros, players will be at the helm of either an officer of the Umbrella Security Service (USS), or a member of a United States Special Operations task-force. Check out the trailer below:

Depending on the character you choose, your objectives will be as follow:

Members of the USS are tasked with destroying evidence of Umbrella’s illegal activities, including killing survivors of the outbreak, while the Special Operations team has to expose the actions of the company

Looks & sounds pretty interesting. Resident Evil: Racoon City hits shelves in time for the holiday season of 2011!
