Freddy Krueger’s Mortal Kombat character gets a backstory…..

Following up on a report from a few weeks ago about the infamous Freddy Krueger joining the ranks among Mortal Kombat’s roster of killers, a backstory in the form of a video preview trailer has hit the web today. Check out what brought Freddy Krueger to the Mortal Kombat tournament!

Freddy will be available on Playstation Network for $4.99 and the Xbox Live for 400 Pts tomorrow, August 9th! Still crossing my fingers that eventually they will decide to render a model of the original Robert Englund Freddy Krueger character.

Mortal Kombat gets welcomed to PRIME TIME, BITCH!

That’s right, Freddy Krueger is the latest DLC character available for the new Mortal Kombat available on the PS3 & 360 consoles.  However, it is going to test which emotion is stronger, the happy emotion that Freddy Krueger is in Mortal Kombat, or the fact that the Freddy character model being used is definitely the 2010 Freddy Krueger version.  Check out the trailer for the DLC below:
