Looks like SyFy has been pleased enough with it’s reality competition show FaceOff that they are now handing over the reigns to a pro. That pro is named Cleve Hall, and the show follows his family business of making monsters, creatures, ghouls, and more for various productions. Check out the trailer:

Monster Man premieres March 14th on SyFy!
Syfy is really diving into the monster makeup arena. On the heels of it’s original reality-competition FACEOFF (in which SyFy is currently casting a second season for) A new reality show has been given the go-ahead. “Monster Man” about Cleve Hall, special effects make artist and his family who help him run the business. Variety has this to say:.
“Syfy programming topper Mark Stern called the series “our own ‘American Chopper’?” when the net unveiled its development slate ahead of its March upfront. “This whole world of special effects makeup and creature-making is something that we’ve been exploring for quite a while,” he said.”
According to the article some of the movies Cleve Hall has worked on include, Tim Burton’s “Ed Wood” and “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure,” as well as popular kid show “Yo Gabba Gabba.” Hall has also worked with bands including Kiss, Devo, and Tenacious D. So it is easy to see Hall has worked all over the spectrum of the industry. “Monster Man” is set to air early in 2012!
