Welcome back to your bi-weekly TV Horror discussion fix!
On this episode Brian is back with us filling in for Corey once again. The three of us welcome Doug Plomitallo from scaredstiff.tv back to talk about his new monthly web-series Jason X-Mas! For the first time ever Jason Voorhees hits the white powdery snow and the results are fantastic. Find out all about this series and watch episode 1 right now! Per usual our discussion with Doug eventually branches out to include thoughts on the Friday the 13th series and even some Halloween movies talk.
Then Brian, Jamie, and I get you caught up on all the latest episodes of your favorite (and perhaps not so favorite?) Horror TV shows, as well as a short explanation as to why the Twisted Tales review/discussion was just not meant to be….ugh. All that and more on episode #58 of Evil Episodes Podcast!
Welcome to the big #50, and what better timing for the big 5-0 than our Halloween 2013 special, right?
This sucker is packed, so packed in fact that I split the episode into two for those that have a preference of what they want to get to first (but trust us, both will be worth it). First off we have Corey, Jamie & Myself talking some Halloween shows and traditions from our past and present, what exactly do WE do on Halloween, all that good stuff….then I invite Doug & Robert Coker on to discuss a bunch of different haunts in California including Knott’s “Scary” Farm, Universal’s Hollywood Horror Nights, & much more……The season pass podcast was kind enough to invite me with them for these experiences and it will not be soon forgotten. Do yourself a favor and check out even more detailed coverage of the haunt season at http://www.seasonpasspodcast.com
I hope everyone has another great Halloween, stay safe, but spooky!
On this episode we have a mega-segment covering the first five episodes of the new series Sleepy Hollow as well as another three episodes of Supernatural S:1(7,8,9). Although the shows have some similarities there is enough that make them unique experience to watch. We also review the british indie horror, Young, High & Dead. That flick certainly gets two out of three down pretty well.
Everything gets kicked off with some much overdue catching up in everyone’s world, as well as Mike & Jamie giving some brief thoughts on, Kiss of the Damned, Curse of Chucky & Insidious 2.
Please enjoy and look for the Evil Episodes Halloween 2013 special/Ep50 to hit Horrorphilia next week!
On this edition, we discuss one thing, Dexter. Yes, all things Dexter. We talk with special guest Brian M Sammons, and give our thoughts of each season of Dexter before we get down to where we do the most battle, which is the series finale. I hope you all enjoy our extensive Dexter discussion.
It’s time to turn the dial to Evil. You’re Horror TV Fix is back!
On this episode we start up with our usual greetings and pleasantries including a whole hell of a lot of non-horror talk including a massive spoiler free slobber-fest for Breaking Bad.
Up next we have a super duper sized news segment full of fun tidbits, including an AMC spinoff of The Walking Dead, a possible Friday the 13th Web-series and video game on the way, A new werewolf series coming to SYFY, and a whole hell of a lot more…..
Then we review the final four episodes of the first season of Ripper Street and Rajun Cajun Redneck Gators in a combined review segment.
Sounds short & compact in the description, but don’t be fooled, this episode is back to the extended running time of over 2 hrs, so sit back relax, and grab a big ol’ mason jar full of moonshine!
Welcome back to your bi-weekly dose of small screen terror!
It’s Evil Episodes Podcast #39!
On this edition we start with rundown of anything horror-related we’ve watched since the last episode including a handful of movies Mike watched over the last week which American Mary, Maniac(original & remake), and Stitches. Listen out for possible extended reviews of any combo of the movies in the future.
We then get to the normal rundown of TV shows we have been watching and catch everyone up to whatever episodes were current as of the recording (Friday May 4th). This time The Following was given the extra special treatment as the first season had just wrapped up with one hell of a cliffhanger and all three of us were not only blown away but ready for the next chapter to begin immediately.
Next some news bits were thrown in including some new TV shows in the works for FX, HBO, and MTV, as well as a re-release of a survival horror video game with a new extended Director’s cut. These might be shows you will want to get the DVR ready for!
We finish up this episode with another special “At the Movies” segment as all three of us saw Rob Zombie’s latest endeavor, Lords of Salem. Were we bewitched and put under a spell? Did anyone think the movie was more horrid than slime & snails, and puppy dog tails? You won’t want to miss our discussion featuring the very special guest MisfitBoy! ( @Misfitboy69 )

Hello again you ghouls and gals! In Episode 14 Darrick and I ask you to choose sides as we review the movie Humans vs. Zombies that premiered a couple months ago on Chiller network. The movie is a take on a game made popular on college campuses across the world over the past decade where people role play massive zombie attacks, except there is no role playing here, just bloody carnage as the zombies are real! Did Chiller deliver a hidden gem or will this rot away in the cesspool of horror movie slush?
We also invite our good pal Doug Tilly (@Doug_Tilley) from DailyGrindhouse to discuss The Fly and The Fly remake in quite an epic conversation that as per usual, veers off course from time to time onto other horror subjects as well as the randomness you have come to expect, appreciate and gush over on this podcast!
